Spear Family,
Reading the obituary reminded me of a time when I also benefited from a visit to the Study at the Spear's house. I had dislocated a finger on my left hand while playing football with Carl, Tripp, John and Westley among others at the old JCC. I remember tackling Westley and getting up with a finger that was bent like it should not have been. After Tripp tried to reset the finger unsuccessfully, Carl drove me to the house to have "Doc" Spear take a look at it.
