Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences I just found out. I've known Dr. Speed almost my whole life he was my Pediatrician and later on end up being my children's doctor. He was a wonderful doctor and I know he is still doing great work in heaven. Rest In Peace you truly will be missed. God bless his family.

I met Curtis in ROTC as we both began our days at Arkansas State. He was a gem and a great guy who could offer a bit of dry humor on occasion. Both of us grew up in Arkansas when times were different and together, we and a lot friends saw a future of inclusion and opportunity. Curtis seized the chance to make the world better---and succeeded in many ways. His love of his country and family was second to none. As the song says, "go rest high on the mountain" and smile. MY SINCERE CONDOLENCES ON YOUR LOSS MAY GOD COMFORT YOU IN THIS TIME OF SORROW 1 PETER 5: 6,7

My sincere condolences to the family for the loss of your loved one. May prayers strengthen you and memories comfort you, and may our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father, who loves us, comfort your hearts and "make you firm". (2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17)

Curtis fought a good fight and finished his course! He was my (Elizabeth), classmate, Class of 1966 Booker T. Washington High School, Jonesboro, AR. Curtis was a hometown boy and we have known him all of our lives. He had a brilliant mind. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his devoted wife, Edwina, his sisters, Lola and Sarah and his children. May God supply all your needs and give you comfort and strength, doing this very difficult time.

I offer my deepest condolences to the Speed family in your time of grief. May God give you the strength and comfort you need to endure in the days ahead. Col. 1:11

To the family and friends ; your husband and my fraternity brother was one of the reasons I chose Pediatrics as my career in medicine.
My prayers and those of my family and congregational family will be with you now an for ever.
His caring, dedication and love of the Lord , family and his patients will always stand as a Banner of what Pediatrics is all about.
You did not loose him; God called him home to watch all of you from a higher plane.
Sincerely,
Rev. Dr. Charles A....

I remember working w/ Dr Speed when he was at Michael Reese back in the 80's. I was in respiratory care at that time. I said that if I had children, that I would want Dr. Speed to take care of them. May God reward a good and caring doc for what he has done for countless kids. May he rest in pease.
