Cynda Hayward Douglas

I just read of Cynda´s passing, and was so saddened! I only knew Cynda for a brief time, yet I felt her deep compassion for others. She was a loving, kind, caring lady who deeply loved her husband and family. My prayers go out to the family. May her beautiful life live on in love in your hearts, and may God bring you Comfort and Peace. Merrilee Allen

While still in college, my professional career started with a meeting at the Douglas home. She welcomed me with that classic Cynda smile, fed me dinner, and treated me like one of her own children. Her light will remain bright for all of my days.

Cynda was a dear, lifelong friend. Sadly, she has left us too soon. She will always be remembered as a person who was kind to everyone. She was devoted to her husband, Ray, and was so delighted when she became a mother and grandmother. She loved her family more than anything in the world. She always let her friends know she was thinking about them. These wonderful qualities will be carried on by her five, beautiful grandchildren. She will always be remembered and she will be in our hearts...
