Not sure what to say?

You did a cardiac procedure on me when we lived in Huntsville several years ago. You were a very kind and compassionate Cardiologist. May you RIP.

Dr Anastas was my cardiologist almost 10 years ago when I has a heart issue while shopping on Redstone Arsenal. I had no idea she passed until my pulmonary dr told me about 3 weeks ago. Dr A was a very smart compassionate person. I admired her strength and yes she was firm and courageous. Even concerning a personal, non- medical issue, she advised me well. My condolences to the family. May GOD continue to bless and keep you. May HIS face continue to shine upon you in JESUS NAME.

Dr. Anastas was absolutely the best doctor that I was given the priviledge to have had for 18plus years since November of 2003.She found that I had 5 major blockages and took care of me with stents and years later she set me up at UAB in Birmingham for bypass surgery.Without Dr. Anastas and the good Lord I would not be here today. My wife & I Loved Dr. Anastas with all of our hearts. She was so much more to us than my doctor, she was a true friend & we considered her family.May GOD bless Jon and...

Leigh and I just this day found out about Dr. Anastas´s passing. We are so sad and certainly send our condolences to the family. Eleven years ago Dr. Anastas saved my husband´s life on the day he would have died. On that day he happened to have an appt with his GP and she sent him directly to Dr. Anastas where she did enzyme testing and then sent him directly to Crestwood to have a cardiac cath done which showed all his arteries were blocked. She then called an ambulance which took him...

I´m so very sorry to hear of Dr Anastas´s passing. She was a wonderful doctor . She was very encouraging to me as I have genetic heart disease in my family , with my twin girls being heart tx recipients. She was there when I needed to talk. She always listened and was Very generous with her time. My condolences to the family.

A fine woman, wonder doctor and sweet human being. She is missed. RIP

My most sincere condolences to Dr. Anastas' family- Jon King, sons Grant , Weston, and Wills and sister Anita Bollier (Roger). Dr. Anastas was the first collaborating physician I had when I completed NP school in 2005. She was a mentor, teacher and respected colleague. I loved working with her because she was so dedicated and meticulous about her care, a very skillful clinician, who taught me so much. On a personal note, I loved her passion and energy, she beamed with pride when she spoke of...

My heart has broken into a million pieces. She was the BEST DOCTOR EVER. Great woman. Heart of an angel . Always in great spirits. My condolences to the family and friends. I know she'll be missed. Took great care of me and my son.

So sad to hear about Dr. Anastas' passing. She was my cardiologist since 2010, and, of all the doctors I have ever seen in my life, I felt more at ease with her than any of the others. She always had time to talk and discuss my issues and concerns. It will be hard for me to find another doctor to fill her shoes. Although we only had a doctor-patient relationship, I considered her to be a friend.
