Cindy was a fun-loving lady, she was always game to participate in our shenanigans at work ;) This picture was the guitar that Cindy used during our Airband competition in 2016!!

I worked with Cindy at Lathrop High School. She was an invaluable colleague. And one I looked forward to talking to about books whenever I could. She was a fan of all kinds of literature and so helpful when doing research as well. She made me look forward to going to work. Such a fun person who worked not only with the other teachers well, but the students at the high school as well.

Cindy played an essential role in the early growth of Big Brothers Big Sisters in Fairbanks, serving twice as Program Manager and guiding our work with wisdom, honesty, and humor. Her leadership helped ensure hundreds of local children were supported through safe, meaningful mentoring relationships. We are deeply grateful for her impact and will carry her legacy forward in the lives she helped shape.

Cyndel-I was sorry to hear of the death of your mom. I remember her coming into our 4th grade classroom with her big smile and friendly attitude. You are lucky to have had such a great mom.

Cindy was the Program Manager at Big Brothers Big Sisters on two different occasions, and was an essential part of the growth and success of the agency. I learned so much from her - about kids, about parents and families, and she helped me develop our child safety training. There are hundreds of kids in Fairbanks who are better off because of her caring, her skill and her expertise, and those kids are now contributing members of our community. I miss her and will always be grateful for the...

Cindy was a dear coworker and someone who encouraged me during my first years of teaching. She made a difference in so many student and staff lives. Her smile and demeanor was always patient, kind and upbeat. She will be truly missed. Sending my love to her family.

Ron and Cindy where my 'across the street' neighbors for over 10 years. As a single mom I never had to worry about my kids when they came home from school and didn't have any keys to get in the house because they could always go over to Cindy's and stay warm. I never had to worry about my garage door being left open because they would check on it and let me know. Cindy was always there with anything I needed, and was one of sweetest women I've met. I loved watching the wonderful travel photos...

Aunt Cindy was wonderful and will be missed.
