Cindy was my best friend, and I miss her dearly. We were like sisters. When we relocated to Baton Rouge after Hurricane Katrina, I knew everything would be all right with my best friend being here. We enjoyed activities in the Newcomers Encore group - lunches, stitch and chat, Bunko, and Canasta.
