Cynthia L. Ferrell

Every once in a while my childhood friend Cindy Zheng pops into my mind and I wonder what became of her. I´ve googled her but never had any luck, until today when I came across her obituary. I´m so very sorry to hear of her passing. It sounds like she had an incredible life full of success, friends, and family. We had a great time together as kids. Condolences to her family.

Frieda just heard the news of Cindy's passing today. We're so sad to hear the news of her passing. In my mind's eye I can see, all of us discussing/arguing politics around the table in Portland, drinking wine and ice tea at the Aloha house and Cindy talking and laughing in our backyard, with baby Hayden in her lap. She was an inspiration to her patients, friends and will be missed by everyone. Our prayers are with Jamie, Alexandra & Hayden.

How sad I was to hear of the untimely death of Cindy. She fought the good fight in her battle with cancer all those years and she modeled how to be resilient in returning to work and balancing her professional and personal life so well. She invited me to OHSU as visiting professor a number of years ago and i had a delightful visit. May her memories be a blessing to her family.

Cindy was such a joy to work with when I worked as an RN in the NICU at OHSU.
