Cynthia Y. Groulx, 61, of 101 Jasmine Court, died Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Hospice House. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Maye and Dorothy May Reeder. She was a retired Real Estate Owner and of the Baptist faith. Surviving are a son, Tanner Young of Greenwood; two sisters, Diane Bobo of Donalds and Maria Todd of Greenwood; and a brother, Tony Maye of Greenwood. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Maye. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Ralph T. Bowling, III officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Dewayne Todd, Robert Maye, Dennis Clingerman, Joey Bobo, Ted Bourne, Barry Young, and Steve Maye. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123; or HospiceCare of the Piedmont; 408 West Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.
