Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Cindy's death yesterday from my sister. I am so sorry for your loss. It seems like just yesterday we were all growing up and playing and knew that when the bell rang, the Happel kids were to go home. My heartfelt prayers to all who loved and knew her.

Cindy and I were buddies in seventh and eigth grade. We once walked all over two subdivisions together trick or treating. We used to hang out at the Valley High swiming pool. I've lost touch with her over the years and I'm so sad to hear we have lost her.

Cindy was my best friend and was always there for me as I was for her. The world will be a sadder place without Cindy.--Fran Roth

I attended U of L when Cindy was a undegraduate -We were friends - after she returned to Louisville from leaving in Ohio she was so kind to have me over for dinner -The last time we saw each other she had just transitioned back to living and teaching at U of L -I am so sorry for your loss -Martha Prater Dwyer

I just learned of Cindy's passing from Bonnie, another school mate of ours.
Cindy was a lovely, happy person, who always brightened our day. It was a privilege to have her as a classmate & friend at VHS. I pray her family takes comfort in knowing that such a light as Cindy can never be extinguished.

I was very excited when she moved to New Jersey to work with our group. I will always remember the story about Senator Bunning's aide putting away the baseballs he was going to give to her and two other activists after he disagreed with them. I last saw Cindy when I was on a business trip to Spokane, Washington. We happened to be...

I knew Cindy through RESULTS, seeing her at regional and national conferences for many years. Cindy was funny, energetic, outrageous, and passionately committed to a better, more just world. She will be missed. Steve Arnold

Our thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you. You are a wonderful family.
Most Sincerely,

Cindy will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
