Not sure what to say?

It still hurts. Cynth passed on my birthday and the day is always bittersweet now with wonderful memories of my graceful unique and loving friend. I remember you every day and always for your kindness and loyalty and sense of style and your quiet clever sense of humor. My daughters to whom you were a magical Tante still relish in that quick witted grace and love. What a splendid and one of a kind friend. Sorely missed. Daily remembered and celebrated.

Saul Harris was a dear friend of my parents and I remember how proud he was of Cynthia when she played Wallis Simpson he told of his trip to England to see her on the set! Fond memories

I knew Cynthia from time spent together at PS 75 in the Bronx, as well as having also graduated from James Monroe HS. It was always evident what an intelligent person she was and how hard she worked to achieve her very notable career. My condolences to the family.

A brilliant talent, a literate, compassionate, and funny lady , a kind and insightful New Yorker of great personal style and sophistication, a graceful, generous, fiercely loyal, truly remarkable friend. God how we will all miss you.

Our dinners at Gene's were always such a joy! You will be so very much missed.

Your memory will always be cherished by me . We spent years together creating , laughing and living life fully . All love Joyce

I´m sorry to learn of this, I was always a fan

No one says "Whhhaaaat?!" like Sylvia Buchman! Thankful for the laughs over the years...

Her smile, humor, and honesty were rare commodities in this world-- to say nothing of her talent and generosity. Cynthia will sincerely be missed.
