Cynthia Lafforthun

I remember Cindy from when we were little girls living in the village. She was the same age as my sister Ruthie, and I was a few years younger. We played together sometimes before we moved to rural Galway. Then I saw her at church. For some reason I'm thinking she once had a real live monkey (?), which was very exciting but it might have been my imagination because we all loved animals, even our stuffed ones. I recognized Cynthia (Cindy) the second I saw her picture that´s how little she changed in the 55 years since I last saw her. She was a year older than me and I remember her as a lot of fun. Always smiling. Sorry to the family for their loss.
