KANNAPOLIS - Cynthia Jeannine Murdock, 27, of 363 Esther Circle, Kannapolis died Tuesday, July 7, 2004, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born Aug. 11, 1976, in Cabarrus County to James William Murdock and Delores Curry Murdock. She was employed by Brookridge Retirement Center. She is survived by her parents; three brothers, Bruce Murdock of Washington, D.C., David Murdock of Kannapolis and Barry Murdock of Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, Donna M. Ray of Charlotte and Deborah M. (Brian) Bradley of Greensboro; her grandmother, Christine Murdock of Landis; two nephews, Darion Bradley and Nickoli Gomez; two nieces, Daphne Murray and Mahaley Ray; her fiance, Myron Black; and a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 12, at Marable Memorial AME Church. Interment will follow at Bethel AME Zion Church. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at Marable Memorial AME Church. Clark Funeral Home of Kannapolis is in charge of the arrangements.

I met Cindy when she first came to Winston-Salem, We work together at Wal-mart Pharmacy. Cindy ask if I Knew a good beautician and I told her to go to mind. She was a very beautiful person and I was blessed to know her. Find comfort in knowing that she is in a better place and God knows no mistakes. My prayers are with you at this time of grief. I had the pleasure of being Cindy's beautician while she was in Winston Salem, and from that a friendship grew. Cindy was just a beautiful person all around and touched many peoples lives around her. She was truly one of God's angels here on Earth. Now she is at rest with God looking down on all of us , smiling of course. Her presence and smile will be greatly missed by the Styles "R" Us family. May God...

To say that I'm hurt over the passing of Cindy would be a gross understatement, she was a beautiful young woman that touched a number of lives, both co-workers and patients, I had the pleasure of working with Cindy and grew very fond of her, the patients spoke well of her often.

I will continue to pray for Cindy, because I know she's in a better place and I will pray for your family that God grants you patience and peace during the ordeal....
