I have only known Dr. Wecht through books that I have read and he has had something to do with the content. I´m very sorry for your loss. I feel that the loss is a huge loss for the community and for the several families who have been affected by the tragedy of losing a loved one that Dr. Wecht has had a hand in helping to solve the crime. Please remember that he is now with God and will be watching over you. My deepest condolences for your family.

So sorry for your loss Ben. I am grateful I was able to chat with your father at the JFK symposium this past November. His passion, curiosity, and enthusiasm were always inspirational. May his memory be a blessing.

One best teachers I had helped me understand anatomy and body functions and science of forensics when interned under him more than twenty years ago. He will be missed.
