Send FlowersZimmerman, Cyrus Marshall age 72 of Minnetonka, lost his battle with bone marrow cancer on November 2, 2013. Preceded in death by father, Cyrus Marshall Zimmerman Sr.; and beloved dog, Tippy. Cy is survived by his mother, Doris L. Zimmerman; uncles, Ernie and James Zimmerman; wife, Margaret M. Sporer Zimmerman; son, Christopher Zimmerman; and daughter, Jennifer Zimmerman Marshall; grandchildren, Mark, Elijah, Malik, Angel, Max, Emma, Robert, and Brandis; step children, Jake (Hilary) Becker, Julia (Shane) Becker, Michelle (Pat) Schuster. Cy served his country for 6 years in the US Naval Reserve. A memorial celebration of Cy's life will be held Friday, November 8 from 6-? PM at the Golden Valley VFW, 7775 Co. Rd. 70, Golden Valley. My daddy was a great man. I thank God that I was able to move back home to Minnesota back in July, and was able to spend the last 4 month with him. Thank you all for your prayers and wishes. (Cy's daughter: Jennifer)
