I just returned from the wonderful, uplifting memorial service for Ferrel. The eulogies were very heartwarming and helped me to know Ferrel better. The tributes by Kristen and Alden were especially meaningful. You made all those wonderful memories come alive. May God bless you all.

I first met Ferrel in 1989 at his beloved RMNP, and in the ensuing years, his knowledge about and reverence for the natural beauties of the park enriched our visits and formed a friendship that was both enduring and valuable. Dear Jan, Alden and Ann,
It was a shock to find out Ferrel was 5 years older than Dale 6 years older than me. I am sending our condolences from the family. We live in Warrensburg, MO. and this is where Dave lives. We retired in 1996 and didn't want to return to where we lost our business so Dave was moving to St. Joseph, MO. and he allowed us to move there and we have enjoyed watching his children grow up and play basketball.
