Joy,
Stan and I feel honored that we are among the people who have actually met you and Lando. Although it was for just a short time that we got to visit with you and Lando at your home you both made us feel so welcome. Just like we had been friends for many years.
God must have needed some help with all of our beloved pets at the Rainbow Bridge and that is why he picked Lando. God knew Lando would be missed by you and many here on earth but He also knew Lando would be a great...

Lando:
Thank you for sharing your life with so many people across the nation. Many of us you never got the chance to meet face to face, but we are family through "rescue" !

Joy and family,
We had the pleasure of meeting Lando last year at Puggerfest, and were struck by what a kind and gentle soul he was. Sending our heartfelt sympathy and wishing you comfort and peace. The measure of a man's wealth is in the love of his family, and clearly Lando was a very rich man indeed.

Joy,
May you and your family find peace in all the wonderful memories that were shared with Lando. One day I hope to meet you in person and can only say that I am very sorry I never got the change to meet Lando. Everyone has wonderful things to say about what a great man he was. Take care of yourself

Joy and Family,
The love that Joy and Lando shared has moved many people. A love like that lives on for eternity.
There is a beautiful story how the last act of rescue a rescuer gets to do, is to welcome all of the dogs into heaven who died without being in "forever" homes and have waited patiently at the Rainbow Bridge. I know that there were many homeless dogs bowing down to Lando when he approached heaven, showing their thanks to such a kind and loving soul.

Joy, I have 'known' you & Lando for, but, a few short years and it seems like I've known you for so much longer. Even tho I never had the chance to meet you in person, you're 'family'. Lando was an amazing & caring man and I will miss hearing about his 'rescue' efforts. My thoughts are with you, Joy. Love from my family.
