I'm saddened to learn about Kay's passing. She was one of my favorite science teacher, even though science was my least favorite subject. At one time in the classroom, She encouraged us to try the Snapper soup and we were like, eek, that we had to eat the turtle. It had turned out that it was not bad after all and I liked it.

Kay will be sorely missed by all of us. My deepest condolence to Ellen and family.
