Not sure what to say?

I have been working through childhood trauma for the last 10 years and it occurred to me to look up Mr. Galland to see if he was still alive. He was my guidance counselor in the 90s. I was at rock bottom and was at my tipping point when my best friend dragged me into his office for help one day. He did not tell me the things adults think kids want to hear. He did not try to tell me how to think or feel, and he did not fill my ears with mindless platitudes. He simply listened to and supported...

Bruce Galland, you were the best! The only enlightened teacher in the entire RPHS system.

Sorry for your loss. Great person

So sorry to hear this! Mr Galland always had a bright smile to welcome students into the school. It was a calming sight at a gawky age. Thank you also to Mrs. Galland for teaching me how to write! I never would have made it through college without you!!! To teach is to touch a life for a lifetime and the Gallands did just that! Hugs and prayers of comfort to you all!!!

Heartfelt Sympathy... Sending big hugs... As years passed I often thought of Mr.G He did have a positive impact on my life and I will never forget him... So kind, gentle, caring, fun and happy, yet serious... I'm sure many from R-P feel the same as I... RIP Sir and thank you for your advise and concern in my life and the fun on the slopes... Never forgotten

Mrs. Gallant and family, I am so very sorry to hear of Mr. Garlands passing. He was one of my favorite people at Reeths Puffer. Always listened, and gave the best advice. I will never forget him, and you Mrs. Gallant and are right in my memories with him! My prayers and thoughts are with you at this sad time. Melodie (White). Thielbar

I remember Mr Galland very well. He was my guidance counselor at Reeths Puffer. At the time I was a mixed up teenager and he was the only adult I felt I could talk to. He was very kind and understanding, and I´ll never forget him. I´m so sorry for your loss, he was a good man.

So sorry for your loss. I think of the family often. .
