I have fond and vivid memories of Larry as a classmate in the Class of 1955 at DuPont High School in Old Hickory, TN. He was an inspiration to us all: a handsome young man, a scholar, athlete and a decent human being. I cherish the memory of those long-ago days in Old Hickory and, among other things, of many jovial conversations with Larry in Chemistry class at DuPont High. My sincere condolences to his family.
