Not sure what to say?

Dr. Unwin was such a pleasure in the UT Neurology clinic. Easygoing and forever young. He will not be forgotten!

It was a joy knowing and being under the care of Dr. Hal Unwin. It is also good to know that he was a christian man and that he is now with the Lord. I send my condolences to his family who must be feeling great loss at this time. I will be praying for you.

Dear Hal,

I'd like to thank you again for being the wonderful, humorous, witty, honest and generous teacher that you have been to me during my three years at UTSW. You are a great loss to the community that Parkland Hospital serves and an even bigger loss to the residency program. Remember when I emailed you to thank you after I passed the board examinations. I just wanted to remind you again that I do owe you a debt of gratitude and and without your constant supervision none...

My Condolences to Hal’s family, friends and associates. Although I was a few years younger than Hal and didn’t attend the same schools when Hal was there I did know of him. Pahokee was/is a small town and our paths crossed on a few occasions. What I remember of Hal was his flaming red hair, a serious face, and his masterful skill as organist at the Baptist Church. I was Methodist so didn’t get many chances to hear him play but when I did it was awe inspiring.

Hal’s family &...

Hal was my employer for a number of years at UTSW. He had such a quick wit and brilliant mind. Shortly after beginning work, I broke my leg in Rock Mountain National Park. Hal not only helped me return to Dallas to be operated on but kept me employed as well during my long recovery. A great man and greatly missed.

Dear Hal, I was a little bit intimidated by your intensity and how hard your worked my first year at Camp Ridgecrest in 1979. Your passion for the children in your tribe and you love for your staff taught me how to be a better staffer at Ridgecrest. I will miss your big smile and you infectious laugh. I pray that God is with you and that you have a place to sing camp songs and build huge little chief fires in heaven.

Hal was our highly respected and beloved neighbor at the lake. Hal's presence will be greatly missed by both of us. He always had a smile and wave each time we passed. May you rest in peace my friend.

We surely miss our friend and neighbor. It is a great loss to the
Sundrift Community.

We will miss Hal's humor, smile and laugh. We feel blessed to have known such a great and gifted man. May God be with Travis, his family and friends.
