Not sure what to say?

Dear Mary and Family,

We were so sorry to hear of Ben's passing. He was one of the true gentlemen of the model railroading community. He approached his hobby the way he approached life - with dedication, determination and a lifelong love of learning. His quiet smile was contagious, and his love of God was apparent in the way he interacted with others.

When the decision was made to move to Clemson SC Ben decided to sell much of his beautiful model railroad and start...

Sorry , for family loss. Ben was a special man .It was so great to have him and be part of so many lives .

In church , it was always good to see him smile , and see the respect ,he gave to God , and his family ...

Please accept our sincerest condolences to your family. Ben was a friend and fellow 'milk train enthusiast' who was gracious enough to share both his historical research, and incredible model building talents by displaying with us at the W. Springfield Show for several years. No man ever dies richer than one who dies a Christian, leaving behind loving family and friends.

Mary & Family, Ben was such a kind man and loved doing things for everybody. From building canoes for the church to helping the neighbors in the winter, Ben was always there!! He would hire my Boys to cut his grass or just help him out and pay them for some extra spending money. Both of you gave more or yourselves to everyone which is why you were both so loved. He was a great man and will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Ben's passing. Mary, I don't know if you remember but my wife and I came up from Texas in fall 2000 and visited you. You made a wonderful supper and we had a great visit. He will be missed by many.

To Mary and Family, sorry for your lost, but happy that Ben
was such a special man , and part of so many lives .
There will be a smile when we think of Ben .

Dear Mary,

Ben was a wonderful friend to me and I will always remember visiting him when you lived in MA. Like all who knew him I am deeply saddened...God rest his soul, such a good man.

Ben was a wonderful friend and fellow model railroader. I always searched for him at the verious train meets in New Hampshire and he often stopped in to our place up in Bath, up in New Hempshire while on his searching for dairy creameries.

Dear Folks, We were so very sorry to learn that Ben had "graduated" from this earth to heaven. So many fond memories over the years. Sending our love and prayers to your entire family. Carl and Janice Kristenson
