Not sure what to say?

I used to listen to Elder Ward's sermons on the radio after leave of my church on Sundays. I got more out of the last 15 minutes of his preaching than thec45 minutes at my church. I often got a copy of his sermon on Monday morning to hear all that was preached on Sunday. I never met him personally but knew him better than my own minister. He and his preaching were a cap stone I listen to the rest of the week. The world needs bold preachers more today than ever. Looking forward to seeing him...

I have spent the last two weeks watching past Sovereign Grace Bible Conference videos and listening to conference singing. I haven fallen asleep in the wee hours of the morning listening to Elder Ward's preaching. I thank God for the life and ministry of Elder Ward. I thank God for allowing me to come under his tutelage and for my continued growth in the word of God through Elder's teaching and preaching. To God Be the Glory.

It's been 6 years and I still miss Elder Ward like I did when he passed. We had a personal relationship. I sat under him for 19 years and God used him to bring me to salvation. The nicknames he had for my boys we still call them by to this day. He was so much more than just a pastor to me. He taught the uncompromising word of God! I can hear him telling the other elders "preach the word!" Goodnight Elder...I'll see you in the morning!

While as a co-op student at the Y-12 plant in Oak Ridge, TN.; I was blessed to sit at the feet of Elder Ward where I was able to learn and appreciate the teachings of sovereign grace. Elder Ward would always say that "God is a just God". He and the church treated me like family, something I will always treasure for the rest of my days. If you ever heard him preach, you would know why they called him a Son of Thunder because his delivery was thunderous.

I just received news of Brother Ward's death.I never heard him preach anything but the Gospel. My Prayers are with his family. Doc Stone, White Bluff, TN

I was blessed by God to be able to sit under Elder Ward in ministers class. He taught us some of the most profound trusts of the scripture. I have yet to find anyone else that preaches or teaches like elder. The closest man to preach and teach like Elder Ward is Elder Greg Spotts. I miss his preaching, teaching and love he showed me. He was and is a true man of God.
God bless sister Ward for sharing him with us.

Do you know if Reverend ever studied the Moorish Sciences?

Thank You

I had the opportunity to meet Rev. Ward on one of his visits too Cleveland.

He was truly Gods Gift. I remember him saying before one of his unforgettable sermons: "everywhere you turn in Cleveland, you got a Church ... he paused. "You should be better Cleveland".

He was truly a God-fairing Man ... does anyone know if he ever studied the Moorish Sciences?

I never had the honor to meet Pastor Elder Ward, but I have had to honor to listen to his messages on the radio program for the last year or so on my way home from my home church. I only knew his name and where he preached. I just recently found out that he had went home to Glory because I didnt hear his messages on the radio anymore. He seemed like a great man of God. I am thankful to have heard his messages and enjoyed them. God Bless Elder Ward's family and maybe I may see him in...
