D Ruth Simmons

D Ruth Simmons, 53, of Sikeston, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023 at the Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau surrounded by her family. She was born February 21, 1970 in Sikeston, MO to Dorothy Ellis Mhoon and the late Enoch Ruth Simmons.

She leaves to fondly cherish her memories two children: Rehanna Jones and Kevin Vaughn; her parents: Dorothy Ellis (Roscoe) Mhoon; seven sisters and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Services are scheduled for Saturday, July 29, 2023 at The Free Church, 338 Matthews Avenue, Sikeston, MO. Visitation is at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Kyle A. Pernell officiating. Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
