Leslie, Daisy 87, of Gary, IN passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014. Daisy was born on January 16, 1927 in Abbeville, SC to the late Seymore F. Hutchison and Annie Sue Dye. After her reunion with Larry Leslie, Sr., they relocated to Gary, IN in 1954, where she became the matriarch and pillar to four generations. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Leslie, Sr.; companion, Charlie L. Wheeler; daughter, Linda; and son, Willie Lee Leslie, Sr. Daisy is survived by 13 children, Larry Leslie, Jr., Daisy Ann Wilson, Juanita Richard, John (Alice) Leslie, Robert (Vernita) Leslie, Donald Leslie, and Sharon Wilson of Gary, IN; James (Wihemina) Leslie of Hobart, IN, Roosevelt Leslie, Sr. and Traci (Michael) Jones of Merrillville, IN, Frances Leslie of Nashville, TN, Mischelle (Michael) Standifer and Angela Fluellen of Atlanta, GA; a special niece, Rosa Patterson of Evanston, IL; a host of grand, great and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation Friday, November 28, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Smith Bizzell & Warner Funeral Home, 4209 Grant Street, Gary, IN 46408.
