In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Marie, you were one of my best childhood friends, we had a lot of fun working together in the summers. Having known you and your family has been a blessing. You will be missed by all.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I was so sorry to have read of Maries passing away at such a young age..I do believe her and I met at beauty school or perhaps we worked at the shirt factory in the 70s...she was a sweet lady and she made friends really easily..She will be missed greatly I am sure...My prayers are with her family...

My dear Marie,
Your were the "bestest" sister in the whole wide world. Thank you for all the good times and the bad ones too. You will be dearly missed by those who love you. Your famous "Red Velvet Cake", pecean pies and all your other "goodies" will never be the same again. You were a good cook, wife and Mother. You were a fighter, through all your sickness, but now you are home with Jesus. He needed you more than we did and took you Home. I will miss you, but our loss is Heaven's...

I am sorry for your loss. Marie was a wonderful childhood friend You may remember me Peggy Cobb from Hugo. Sweetum and Marie were my parents.Lived on Robert Murphy's farm.

I am sorry for your loss
