Colonial Funeral Home of Scott County - Weber City Obituary

Bristol, TN – Daisy LeeAnn Oliver – age 3

Daisy LeeAnn Oliver, 3 of Bristol, TN joined a field of flowers in Heaven on December 23rd, 2023 at 2:01 PM. She was surrounded by her mother, father, and closest family and friends. Many say that daisy flowers are like sunshine to the ground and that is exactly what Daisy was to her family, Sunshine. A Papaw’s girl through and through, Daisy loved to fish and drive race cars. Our Daisy played hard but she loved even harder. And there was nothing she loved more than her UT Vol’s. Daisy was a Rocky Top Tennessee girl and she loved to sing the song with her mother and family. Daisy was a hero to her family but she became a hero to many others after she became an organ donor. Her legacy will continue to live on through the many lives she has touched and blessed. We know that for now, it’s not goodbye, it’s see you later. In a world full of flowers, be a Daisy. Go Vols!  She attended Faith Promise Church in Bristol. She is preceded in death by her paternal great grandmother, Catherine Oliver.

Daisy is survived by her mother, Hannah Wright; father Brandon Oliver; sister, Tallon Oliver; grandparents, Harold and Sherry Oliver and her papaw and nana, Randall and Sandy Combs; maternal great-grandmother, “Gran” Ann Phillips; Uncle and Aunt, Jeff “Jocko” and Debby “DayDay” Phillips; cousins, Brayleigh Phillips, Ansleigh Phillips, Oliver Phillips, Madilynn Oliver, Emma Oliver, and Emilee Oliver.

The family will receive friends from 12 Noon – 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Faith Promise Church, 2133 Volunteer Parkway, Bristol, TN 37620.  Funeral service will be at 2:00 with Pastor Chris Eggart officiating along with Pastor Brian Teagler and Terri Anne Hill Funk.  Interment will follow at Temple Hill Cemetery, Castlewood, VA.  Pallbearers will be Tyler Phillips, Brandon Phillips, Tyler Alderson and Al Combs.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Stowers and Lane Hall.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Colonial Funeral Home to assist family with funeral expenses.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, Knoxville, TN.
