Not sure what to say?

The precious memories we have of Nanny are all the summers we've spent together with friends & family at Lac Adair. Nanny was often the first one up and she gave my youngest daughter her first taste for porridge & tea. Not only did my daughters called her Nanny so did every other child on 45th Avenue.
We will miss you always and I am honored to have known such a remarkable woman!

You will be missed by everyone . We all love you and miss you . Rest in
peace Nanny .

You were there to support my Highland Dancing and to take me to all my dancing competitions. You were also the one with my breakfast ready in the morning before I was off to school. Now you are no longer here in body but I know you will live on with me in spirit. My children would not be where they are today if it was not for you and you will be remembered for the Love you always...

Rest in Peace Nanny. I have many great memories of you while growing up. You will be missed.

She was a great story teller and had a passion for photography. Sadly her parents and her young husband, William Pickering, all passed away within months of each other. Daisy struggled to support herself and her two young children. She immigrated to Canada in the hopes of providing a better life for the family – and...
