Daisy Catherine Sesco, 79, of Hatfield, KY, passed away from this earthly life on March 25, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Daisy was born December 30, 1946, to the late Lawrence and Nolie Hunt Farley of Hardy, KY.
Daisy was a devoted member of Pilgrim Home Old Regular Baptist Church of Varney, KY, for 39 years. She was married to her late husband, Vernel Sesco on January 22, 1966. Daisy was beloved by her children, and she taught them to walk with the Lord.
In addition to her husband, Vernel, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Williamson, and Amanda Cleo Farley, and four brothers, Harold, Charles, Donnie, and James Farley. Five brothers-in-law, Tom, Elbert, and Bobby Sesco, Matt Fletcher, and Roscoe Williamson, six sisters-in-law, Ruth, Eula, Betty, and Carol Farley, and Martha and Sherry Sesco. One granddaughter, Jessica Hagen.
Daisy is survived by her six children, Eva (Greg) Stewart of Virgie, KY, Darlene Sesco of Winchester, KY, Michelle (Brian) Lowe of Hatfield, KY, Brenda (Kelly) Williamson of Sidney, KY, Jeffrey (Heather) Sesco of Hatfield, KY, and Christopher (Jodi) Sesco of Hatfield, KY. Daisy is also survived by her siblings, Ollie Scott of Cincinnati, OH, Connie (Bill) Huddle of McCarr, KY, Patty (Lewis) Luster of Sabina, OH, Patsy (Gary) Dotson of Ransom, KY, Judy (Clayton) Stanley of Sidney, KY, and Jerry (Carol) Farley of Hardy, KY. She has twelve grandchildren, Ryan (Victoria) Hinkle, Lauren Williams, Kelsey Williams, John Hagen, Barry (Kayla) Lowe, Brad (Kyra) Lowe, Kayla Dillon, Tiffany (Jamie) Varney, Mikey (Hannah) Sesco, Scott (Lanie) Sesco, Madison Sesco, and Blake Sesco. She also had five great grandchildren, Nora Daisy Hinkle, Cason Lowe, Drayten Dillon, Braxton Sesco, and Bella Sesco. Daisy is also survived by several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and a host of friends that she loved dearly.
Visitation for Daisy Catherine Sesco will be held Friday, March 27th, and Saturday, March 28th, at 6 PM, with nightly services starting at 7 PM, with Old Reguar Baptist Ministers officiating, at Pilgrim Home Old Regular Baptist Church, Varney, KY. The funeral services will be Sunday, March 29, 2026, starting at 11 AM at the church with Duane Smith, Gary Young, and Richard Staton officiating. The burial will follow at Robinette Cemetery, Varney, KY. Pallbearers for the services will be Ryan Hinkle, Barry Lowe, Brad Lowe, Cason Lowe, John Hagen, Blake Sesco, Mikey Sesco, and Scott Sesco. I was so sorry to hear of Daisy's passing. She was a sweet and loving person. She raised some wonderful children. I taught the children and I appreciated the love and respect they had for me. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family. May God bless you and give you peace and comfort in this difficult time.
