Not sure what to say?

Sorry for your loss. Dale was great guy and a true friend. Miss him very much.

Dale and I were good friends in high school and I met Susie from Lancaster. it was sad as we grew away from each other. Did not meet up again until class reunion some 30-40 later. I ended up in Cleveland teaching so it was hard to see anyone from Coshocton. When we met at the reunion, we had a great time and then gone again. Sorry for your loss and hope that some day we might get together. I miss Dale and the times we had .

He was a gracious gentle giant, who looked out for the underdog. Extremely humble, kind, and generous. Gave you undivided attention and put you at ease. A wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. A man of deep faith and commitment to his God and brotherhood.

I have many good memories of Dale throughout my life because he was so loving and kind. It was mentioned in the memorial talk today about how gentle he was, and that is a very apt description. I definitely will remember him that way, and admire him for his strong faith.

My mom and her sisters were very protective of Dale since they were all much older and since they lost their father so young. I think they all sort of felt like he was more their son than their brother. But in...

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

I have many wonderful memories of Dale and of his entire family, but just one more.......it was June 1994 when our 9 month old son Travis fell down the stairs in his rolling walker. The fear for our precious baby and the mental anguish was indescribable as we waited for the ambulance. In the ER our anxiety was heightened by a young Dr. who was less than cordial to us as they sometimes could be in those days. Travis had broken his femur bone in the fall, a very dangerous bone to break in...

My mom & I were in the same congregation as Dale & Suzy and their lovely family. I was 17 when I graduated from High School in 1976. I wanted to start my full time career of volunteer ministry but didn’t have a car and my parents were not in a position to help me. Dale knew I preferred a new car because I needed a reliable one and I knew only too well the feeling of being stranded in one of my parent’s cars that had broken down. I set my starting date as January 1, 1977 to begin my...

Dale was well loved by all and we want to tell his entire family how sorry we are about their great loss. We are just so sorry. From Mike and Nancy Wetzel, Katie, Travis & Olivia, and Shane.

Sending our deepest sympathy, with love.
