Dear Bakers -- It's been several decades since we (the Flannerys) last saw each other on the slopes at Solitude or in your home. For a while there, I grew up with and learned from Dale, Leanne, Danette, and Georgette -- took ski lessons with Orval -- had the requisite crush on Dale -- had a most remarkable birthday cake made for me by Bea.

Dearest Baker Family,
My heart is heavy hearing of Superintendant Baker's passing. I'm a police officer with Granite District and had the priviledge of working with Dale in many difficult situations. In one's life, we have certain people who make a difference and impact and Dale was one of mine. He was highly respected, very trustworthy and many times made my job much easier. I will never forget him and our world was made such a better place due to his love, caring and dedication. May you...

Susan and Family,
I'm sorry to hear about Dale. He was a great guy and a person who turned averse things into something good. He was a person you were glad to know.

Dear Susan and Family,
There are not enough words in the world to express my love and respect for Dale. He was a GREAT mentor to many and a true advocate for all young people. I would love the opportunity to talk with you (actually brag about Dale) and share a few of the private stories that you may want to know.
With Love and Friendship,

Having only met Mr. Dale one time (at dance), I have to say, he and his lovely wife raised a fabulous daughter. One that touches everyone's life that she happens to come in contact with. I can only imagine that Mr. Dale had the same impact on the people he interacted with as well.
Please know that we are constantly lifting your family up in prayer. I know there are no words that can comfort you now, but always try to remember the good times.
We love you Angie!

Susan, Angie & Tyler,
It was with heartfelt sadness that we learned of Dale's passing. Our lives have taken us in different directions, but I will always remember our family events like Breakfast with Santa and gatherings at home. Dale’s smile and jovial attitude were infectious and your family ties admirable. We and the world are richer for having shared life with Dale and I’m glad Leann was able to meet him at our last Breakfast with Santa. We wish we lived closer together so we could...
