Dale and I was half of the infield for the Coal Valley Miners semi pro baseball team back in the late 1940s. When he played 2nd base I played
short stop. When he played short stop I played 2nd. Both recruited by the Cubs. Both chose a bigger team. The US Military. Ernie Banks got the job. Baraks family great people. No surprise of all of Dales successes.
