Not sure what to say?

I will always love you.

Dear Amy & Duncan,
It has been 1 year and 1 month since we all lost Dale. Dad and I find that it has not gotten easier, just different. Some days are better than others but seeing the strength and courage that you show in your new life with Duncan is very inspirational and humbling. Dale is very proud of the both of you, I am sure. You two are our heart and joy...we feel very blessed. Love, Dad(Pa) & Mom(Nana)

Jean and Bob--What a tribute to your son that people continue to write in his guest book. May these notes be of comfort to your family as you enter this first Christmas Season without his with you. Love, Florence and Del Smallfield

Happy Birthday Dale...we were so blessed to have you in our lives and miss you every minute of every day...
Love, Kendall & Jean

I just received my annual Christmas card from my cousin, Jean, Dale's mother. I am so sad for Jean, Bob, Amy and the rest of the family, especially his son, Duncan. Although I never had the opportunity to meet Dale, I can see so many parts of my family in him - his interest in science, his spirit of adventure and his Norwegian heritage. It is so nice to read of what an inspiration he was to his students. He did die doing what he loved, and he knew the dangers, but it is always...

Dear Mrs Brabec,
It was my first year at High School in 1996,(Matevulu College, VANUATU) and I met him, he was a wonderful man with so much enthusiasm and great person too. May his soul Rest In Peace (R.I.P)

I had Mr. Brabec as an astronomy teacher and him and Mr. Schumaker are the main reason why i graduated. I hated being in school but Mr. Brabec once told me that it was only four years and well worth it. He also was one of the few people that congradulated me when i had both my sons and got married. I hope that someday Duncan will get to read all the entries and know just how much of a difference his dad made in every childs life that he taught. Im so so sorry for your loss and hope time will...

Dear Mrs. Brabec,
I would like you to know what an impression your husband left w/ both of my sons. My junior Jacob had Dale for astrology and my senior Jimmy which just graduated tonight had him for physics. Jimmy & Monica spent most of the year lunches w/ your husband.. They studied together & my son told me how Dale would call his son & you every lunch period & the finger paintings all over his wall from his son.. I truly hope that one day you will find your smile again.. We all have...

Dear Family,
Del and I are sad for you as we just learned of Dale's passing today. I was Jean's roommate and dear friend at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. Nothing prepares anyone for such a loss. We will pray for your family, and I will write to Jean and Bob. God bless all of you with the strength that you need at this most difficualt time.
Sincerely,
Del and Florence Smallfield
