Read MoreDale was a gifted teacher, who had a great way of encouraging and uplifting his students. He taught me political science in 1976, and I had the privilege of attending his wedding with my then boyfriend, now husband, Carl Fred Mueller. I am grateful that I had the chance to see him again at a family event a few years back, and to tell him what an impact he made on me as a young student. Rest in peace Dale.

Mr. Breckel was my favorite teacher in all of my education. He was provocative & fair. He had great stories that brought history & social sciences to life. In a time when `boys´ were treated differently than `girls´, the Coach treated us all the same. He encouraged me to be curious and to keep learning - best teacher, ever!
