Not sure what to say?

I met Dale decades ago when I was young, a bit foolish, and preparing to hitchhike across Colorado to the high country (to do some serious winter camping). We hadn't known each other well, and hadn't kept in touch, but I always remember how concerned he was that I actually knew what I was doing and would stay safe. Some of my best memories are of visiting Dale in his cabin, warm and snug by his wood stove. What a caring and memorable person, and he's touched more lives than he knew.

Miss you always Dale may gods angels be watching over you

Dale, was a mentor, and dear, dear friend to me. Our early years at the Columbine were some of the best for all of us. Full of laughter, love, great adventures and the best of friends. Bonfires on the lake, potlucks at his cabin, gathering wood for the winter, cross country skiing by moonlight. His kind heart and gentle soul have stayed with me through out my life. I am a better person because of Dale. His wisdom and friendship helped shape my early years. Rest peacefully dear friend. See you...

Dale you were always the man when someone had a need. I'll always remember you helping my family when in need, as you did with so many others. You will remain in our hearts forever. bill simon

Fond memories of so much fun shoveling tons of snow and other good times with you old friend. If you see Kayla or Shadow give them a big hug from me...

I was so sorry to learn of Dale's passing. He was a very kind man and really was a help to my father and his wife before they died. They were neighbors in Colorado. Praying Dale is at peace.

Dale was a loyal caretaker and good friend to so many who lived around Beaver Circle for many years. He was helpful and considerate to my father and step-mother in their later years, and Dad thought the world of him.

The grumpy, old, fart always had a helping hand for this grumpy old fart!
It's a smaller mountain without him!
