Not sure what to say?

To the family of Mr. Cherny, He was a most wonderful teacher and he made learning interesting and enjoyable! I had him at Longfellow school in Council Bluffs, in seventh, eighth and ninth grades back in 1967, 1968, 1969. I know my little brother and sister had him, too! You should all be so proud to call him yours! Jerre (Brosam)Furst

Mr. Cerny was a great teacher. I was in his 5th grade social studies class. God bless Mr. Cerny and his family.

I remember Mr. Cerny when he taught at Longfellow. Such an amazing teacher who really cared about his students. Sending thought and prayers to his family and friends.

Mr Cerny was one of my favorite teachers at Longfellow. Rest in Peace

I remember Mr Cerny from Longfellow school in Council Bluffs.... I came from a family of 7 kids and I believe he taught us all.... He was a pleasant teacher who was always willing to lend a helping hand if need be...My heart goes out to the family!! Debi Edie Maskell.

I remember Dale, he was our neighbor on Ave D. He was always good to us kids, he took us to Kansas to his parents farm one time. I used to take care of his hunting dog when needed. I always loved his 1964 Maroon Impala. RIP Dale, you will be missed.

I enjoyed working with Dale at TJHS. He was a friend to fellow teachers and his students. Always open to new ideas in the wood shop.

I remember Mr Cerny from Longfellow. He was always so easy going, never raised his voice and always showed boring movies, lol. He was one of my favorites. My condolences to the family and friends.
