I knew Dale in the l980s when he was in Bad Sneakers and shared a house with band members on Main St., in Newark. He was a very talented guy. Sorry to learn of his passing.

Dale was a music theory student of mine decades ago -- one of the brightest, most inquisitive (in a good way), and talented students I ever taught. His sense of humor added a lot to the class, but he was never inappropriate. My husband, Steve Hahn (who had the pleasure of playing in a band with Dale for a brief time), and I were saddened to hear that he was taken way too early. Our condolences to his loved ones. Although Dale was in my brother's class at school, we shared a deep love of music. I will always remember how awestruck I was at his compositions in electron music at UD. He was truly a wonder to behold.
