Not sure what to say?

Darreleen,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones, I am very sorry for your loss. If there is anything that I can do for you please don't hesitate to call, God Bless You.

Darreleen, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Carol: I just heard of Dale's passing in the MU magazine. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dale was a person for whom I had the greatest respect. He was sincere and honest, he had integrity. I knew he had gone on to school and had a practice in the Akron area. I have no doubt he was loved by each and every one of his patients.

Dale was a "great" man. I am so sorry he was taken from you much too soon.

Dear Carol,

I’m so sorry. Mom just learned and informed me of Dale’s passing a day or so ago. Since your
Christmas letter we have worried... but hoped there would be more time.

When I remember Dale I shall always smile... for he was not just a dear man... but a funny man who brought laughter and lightness to the heart. I know how you must miss him. Give my love to the kids and call me any time or any hour that you may need me. We’ll talk about the old...

Dr. Dodd was a rare human being with the perfect blend of humor and compassion and a special love for animals(which I also share - we competed with our pet stories). He will be missed! I pray God will comfort you in your loss and bring to mind great memories in your loneliness and assurance that you will meet again in Heaven one day. Sincerely, Lynette Adams

Dearest Carol and Family,
I had the pleasure of calling Dale a wonderful friend for over 18 years since meeting him at MGH, I shall miss him very deeply for so many things, but I think the most important attribute he gave me was showing me the courage in never giving up in his illness and the power to fight, no matter what challenges he had to face and knowing always that god was with him every step of the way. I truly would not be where I am today in my fight if it were not for you...

We offer our deepest sympathy at the loss of Dale and pray that God will be with you and sustain you in this time of loss. Gary & Janice Bethel

My fondest memory of Dale is when he called my mother, Shirley, and me on the morning of my wedding. Dale said he just wanted to remind me to savor and enjoy each moment of the special day ahead.

Kind and thoughtful acts, like this one, were characteristic of him. I so appreciate Dale's friendship with my mother and his kindness to our family.

Sincerest regards,
Lisa Downin

My deepest sympathy to the entire Dodd family (including the beloved Annie). Dale's passing will surely be felt by all. He was certainly a special client to me.
Sincerely,
Nancy Elish, DVM
