Dale Francis Duff

Even though separated by long distances, we always kept in touch. I'll miss our telephone conversations and your quirky sense of humor. I have fond memories of our times together in Portland when our young families would celebrate Thanksgiving at Grandma Duff's house I have a mental picture of you and Pat tossing a football together in your afterlife and rehashing the old "glory days". Rest in peace, my dear brother-in-law.

The Rohe family Marilyn and Patsy remember the wonderful times of our youth with Pat and Dale. Our mothers were both from Idaho. We were family friends and spent many years along the Tualatin River by our house. We were neighbors on Skidmore street and then our family moved out to West Linn on the River. Dale's good looking clothes were passed on to our brother Bob. Who was thrilled to have such nice things.

To Dale's family,
As a Grantonian 4 years behind Dale, I had heard of his athletic accomplishments. In 1955 I met him for the first time on a train to Fort Ord and then in training at Fort Lewis.
