Not sure what to say?

My good and great friend Dale. He will always be a part of my life even though he's moved on. I think of the great times we had together, hunting, fishing, talking, family get-togethers in Portland and clear across the U.S. in Reisterstown MD.. His was a great intellect and we spent many hours discussing anything that came to mind and over the years nearly everything did. I enjoyed watching him take an idea and build a really successful business. And I enjoyed watching him build his...

Dear Duvall Family, Dad talked so highly of Dale and their Navy years together. Dad was always proud of the VS892 and wore his hat with the insignia on it right up to his end. I as Chucks daughter want to thank ALL of the war heros for fighting for our freedom and liberty. Thank you Dale, Dad and the rest of our military heros. Our deepest sympathies to June and children. Dad and Mom loved your visits in Central Oregon.
The Perrott Family

Sorry to read of the lost of Dale. I thought the world of him. I enjoyed serving under Dale for many years in the Department of Oregon, Reserve Officers Association, especially when he was President - Year 1976-1977.
Still have his picture on the cover of The Oregon Reservist. I learned a lot from him. He put on such meaningful conventions and June I know you were a great help to him over the years. He was also so thoughtful of others and we will miss his wonderful smile.

I didn't know Dale, but went to school with Dian and Dean. Very fine children and it sounds like Dale was a wonderful man. My sympathies are with you during your time of loss.

I have many fond memories of flying with Dale during my time in VS892. A great CO and a real gentleman.

I passed his obit on to Bruce Samson.

With my deepest sympathy,

My dearest Dale -- The love of my life for over 60 precious, adventurous years. You will remain in my heart forever....

Your June

I was sorry to see Dale's passing in the paper today. A couple of fond remembrances came to mind when reading the obituary.
The first was having a long passionate discussion with Dale about the intricacies of Roman plumbing. It just had never crossed my mind before. What could I have been thinking?
The second was been able to watch him build his plane. Again I thought this was totally fascinating I wasn't too sure if I want to be the first one to ride in it.
He was always a...
