Dale was a great coworker and friend. We worked together at the Thermal Hydraulics Laboratory at Battelle especially on specialized experimental heat transfer simulations of nuclear fuels for Hanford and commercial reactors. Later, I was privileged to be a manager of Dale's work. He was an outstanding engineer but most importantly, a wonderful person. We enjoyed great times together at picnics with his family and wonderful ski outings. Dale was the Best. My deepest sympathies to his...
