My condolences to the Franz Family. Dale and I were squadron mates those very difficult first two years at the Air Force Academy. Even at that young age, you could see the character and dedication to service that would define him throughout the rest of his life. Rest in peace Buddy!

Dale has had a special place in my heart for 61 years. He was an outstanding member of our very close-knit youth group, of which my parents were the sponsors. He was my very first boyfriend and my very first kiss. One doesn´t ever forget the first. The last time I saw him in person was shortly after college and my marriage.
