I am deeply sad for the loss of such a beautiful human being. Dale was kind, happy, generous . My deepest condolences to Susy, Shannon, and Heather. I know Dale from the time he worked for USGS and then for Nye county.

I continue to cherish the memory of Dales kind and protective heart for those who worked with and for him! Divinity found expression through him.

Working with Dale during the Yucca Mtn ISIP left many of us in awe of the range of knowledge and skill he brought to the project. Great sense of humor tempered with ethics. Rare. The NRC Regional Directors had many positive statements about Dale after their visit to the project site. We all will remember Dale in a very positive way.

I am especially saddened to learn of Dale's untimely passing. He was one of the "good guys" down there on the 14th floor of UMTRA. I don't know what I appreciated more about him -- his energy, his intellect or his unflagging and robust sense of humor. I do believe that one of the many things that allowed him to be the individual that he was was his wife Susan -- she was the best!

My regards and condolences to you Susy and the entire Hammermeister clan. (I would love to hear from you...

Susan, I am so very sorry to hear about Dale. My mom just told me. What a devastating illness. Thanking of you and your family. May you soon be able to focus solely on the many sweet memories you both created.

Goodbye my friend Dr. Dale Hammermeister and rest in peace in the bosom of our Everblissfull Heavenly Father, whence we all come to His this mortal dream playground for a while. He eagerly awaits all the while the return of each of us to Him when we are washed clean of our dross of ignorance due to our individual willful separation from Him through our numerous incarnations, and when we are individually purified by self-less service and love for all being, and finally find our way to come...
