Not sure what to say?

Dale you were loved by all. What a legend u were. Thanks to your mom and dad for creating you and your talent. They always take the best. So sorry to Crystal ,Eric, Alexis and Ben for your loss. You know going to hockey games in the old arena in Winnipeg it was such a pleasure and so exciting to watch Dale play the game. What a hard working player he was and the goals he scored. Always our favourite player. Rest in peace Dale and now u can watch your son play the game. You are an Angel up...

Dale was a great player on and off the ice. A true Gentleman. He will always be a Jet. RIP Ducky

Manitoba’s hero. We are grateful to have had him play and live here. He will be soooo missed. Far too soon. RIP Ducky

I had the opportunity to meet Dale at a hockey school in St. Andrews NB and after a game at Maple Leaf Gardens. I have a letter he wrote me that is truly one of my prized possessions. Dale, thank you for passing on your passion for hockey to so many young hockey players! I will miss that charming smile! My condolences to the entire Hawerchuk family. We truly lost an amazing individual way too soon!

I’d like to thank him for some of my most enjoyable evenings of my childhood.
Watching him dance around the Defense & then the goaltender where some of the most memorable moments of my youth. Has always been my favourite Jet. Will never forget his generosity staying to sign the last piece of paper or jersey for the young kids.
Thank you Dale. ❤

Dale was the pitcher for the Jets and he was pretty good at that and few were able to make contact with the ball and even fewer made it to base. We had no runs and the Jets had 17. In the last inning I got up to bat and the 3rd pitch he threw I connected and put it over the fence. I not only got a pat on the back from my team mates but...
