Not sure what to say?

I worked with Dale for a number of years at Watkins, Ross & Co. (formerly Watkins, Ross, Stanar, and Lamps). I fully enjoyed my time with Dale, as a mentor to me as well as a friend. He always took the time to share his knowledge with others. He was truly a professional in all aspects of life. My sympathies to Dottie and family. Rick Zweering

My Father, Malcolm Whipple, Waltham Twp, was a good friend of Dale´s Dad, Forrest Lamps, and my brother Monty attended LP High School with brother Gary, and i knew Don from his teaching days at LaSalle-Peru HS. The Lamps family had a lovely farm corner Route 51 & Dimmick/Waltham/Wallace school road. Dale & Lamps family were well-know and loved by community. We miss them still.

Dale was very generous in sharing his many talents and time to the Michigan Catholic Conference for decades. Dale´s actuarial knowledge helped keep The Michigan Catholic Conference pension plan on solid ground. As CFO of the Conference I was blessed to have Dale to call on when I was faced with tough decisions on the pension plan. Dale also served on many subcommittees at the conference and his insights were invaluable when making tough decisions. I am so grateful for Dottie´s willingness...

I first knew Dale as his pastor at St. Robert's in Ada. Then we were were both involved in the Michigan Catholic Conference and I would enjoy our visits as we rode together to Lansing. I so enjoyed Dale's company, and in turn getting to know Dottie. Sad for me when you moved away form Michigan. Please know that I will offer Mass for Dale and all his loved ones.

My brilliant, talented, witty, family-man brother Dale will be missed by me and others so very much. He enjoyed the outdoors, family, and his piano so very much. He loved to sail on the Michigan lakes, and I did so with him many times. He would make and bring his special rice pudding g. I could never get that just like him. He repeatedly amazed me with his ability to play piano, practice, and never stop learning. We loved to chat and discuss politics. Well versed because he was an avid...

I have fond memories of Dale from the days he worked with my late husband, Charlie Stehouwer, at Deloitte and Touche. I know Charlie always enjoyed being a colleague of his. My sympathy to Dottie and family as you now navigate life without him. May you feel our Lord's comforting arms around you. Blessings, Marianne Stehouwer
