Not sure what to say?

To Mr. Larson's family, I am sorry for your loss. I had Mr. Larson for pre-calculus at Pioneer. He was such a wonderful teacher and made math so fun: now I am a math professor. He always joked about how we had better know things completely so that when we were at a math party we would be able to discuss them. When I was in graduate school I started going to math parties, and I always thought of Mr. Larson, thankful that he had made sure I was prepared for exactly this eventuality.

I am very sorry for your loss. I met Dale when he lived at Towsley as my father was a fellow resident on his wing. A very kind and gentle man.

To Dave's family, heart felt prayers. Dale was a great friend at pioneer. The Pioneer family will miss him.

I had him as a teacher he was great
Thanks for your hard work
You will be missed

I always said to Kirk, "If I could only be like your dad, with his kindness and energy, I'd be a very happy man." Marilyn, I feel sad that I hadn't visited you guys for so long. We do love you and your wonderful family so much. See you soon, most likely.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Larson's passing. I only knew Mr. Larson through Kirk while building a trestle table in his workshop. A very kind gentle soul, he will be missed.

My condolences, Kirk, and to all the Larsons.

Dale...Mr. Larson to me...was always a level head to our adventures at the Larson Farm. I have shared many stories with my kids on how he used to just shake his head at Kirk and I as we continued to do mud doughnuts is the spring mud with the truck. A good man. Respected teacher and friend to many.

Like so many others, I first got to know Mr. Larson when he was my math teacher at Pioneer High. He was one of my favorites. During my senior year, I became good friends with his son Kirk. That friendship allowed me to better get to know the Larson clan over many years. What a nice family!

Mr. Larson's combination of kindness, wisdom and humor will be missed, but very fondly remembered!

Condolences to all of the Larsons.
