Not sure what to say?

Hard to believe it's been four years since Dale's passing. We still miss him. I just learned of another great rancher conservationist in eastern Colorado, Chip Hines, who just passed away two days ago. They were both great mentors to rangeland conservationists like myself.

Herb and I, our children and grandchildren still remember the wonderful times we had at the Lasater Ranch and Dale's kindness to us. We remember him with great fondness and miss his warm presence.

I was shocked to learn of Dale's death from the CRMS bulletin. We were classmates there, and I have many fond memories of the Lasater family, of visiting the ranch, and being fascinated with
" The Lasater Philosophy of Cattle Raising." Dale was one of a kind! His sense of humor was unique. My deepest sympathy to the family for your profound loss.

Rest in peace my friend. We first met in 2010 in Spain on the Camino. We became really close friends over the last six years and I can't even tell how much respect I had for him.
Thank you for your friendship, the time on the Lasater Ranch, teaching me about life, cattle and how to ride horseback...I will miss you Tio! My deepest condolences to the family!

You can't say enough about Dale and the Lasater family. Thank you for always being courteous and kind, and we always enjoyed conversations and doing business with you.

I met Dale at a sale in 1980. He greeted me by name and treated me like a very important person . We still buy his cows and he always treated me fair and square. Matt Dikeman

With Deepest Sympathy to the Lasater family for your loss. We worked with Dale at Our Lady of the Pines many years ago. He was a fine man and will be missed.

Prayers, Rae Jeanne and Carla Lucero

Janine and family, we were saddened to hear of Dale's accident and passing. We have known Dale for many years and he was a gentleman and he served our community well for many years. He will be missed and even though you will have an empty space in your lives, we also know Dale loved the Lord and is in His presence now. Our thoughts and prayers, Jack and Linda Maranville
