Not sure what to say?

On Thanksgiving Day, my mother brought the obituary of Dale's passing from the Harrisburg Newspaper. Needless to say, I was shocked and saddened to learn of Dale's untimely death. I guess of all the guys who knelt behind the plate to catch the games that Dale pitched, I might have been the one who caught the most. From little league through High School we had some mighty fine games. I went on to catch at Penn State as a walk on, and was given the opportunity to catch for a number of...

Susan & Hary Poff & family

I was Dale's biology teacher and coached basketball at Cumberland Valley HS from 1966-70. The class1969 was one of the nicest group of students I was associated with in my 34 years at CV. I remember Dale fondly as a fine young man and and excellent student/athlete. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy to your entire family, upon Dale's passing. His love of family and country will give you loving memories to help sustain you in the future. God bless your entire family.

I was very saddened to see that Dale has passed away. My deepest sympathy to Dale's parents and his daughter, Jamie. I worked with Dale at the Osteopathic Hospital in the 1980's. As I read his obituary, so many memories of times spent with Dale and many dear friends from CGOH ran through my mind...most of all, Dale's smile. His smile and laugh could light up an entire room! My then boyfriend, Scott Legg, and I were honored to be asked to be in the wedding party when Dale and Ingrid...

I was so sorry to read of Dale's passing. We shared many years together playing baseball for Silver Spring and CV. Also, we had many competitive games of pool, chess, ping pong, and golf in our high school days. If there is any kind of public viewing or memorial service I'd like to come.

I too have lost my Dad & still feel the loss many years later. So, I can feel your pain. I hope each day will give you a bit more acceptance.
