Not sure what to say?

Someone just made a post on facebook asking people to mention their favorite teacher. My mind immediately went to Mr. Menzies. It prompted me to look him up and sadly, I found this obituary. Through tears, I remember his jolly smile, goofy nicknames, and tender way he loved his students. He made a very difficult year on this 'new girl in town' tolerable. He taught me math, yes, but he taught me so much more - how to truly care for someone. What an amazing human whose impact continues on. How...

I haven't forgotten you, Tusker.

Dale was a great man, enjoyed him as a cousin in law, he surely will be missed

His driver's ed class at SHS will never forget him. Jett appreciated the way Mr. Menzies celebrated his accomplishments, encouraged greatness, and entertained his classmates. Thank you Mr. Menzies.

Dale was truly a man among men. His life has impacted and influenced many, many other lives in such a positive way. Thank you for the great opportunity of experiencing that impact, love, and making unforgettable memories. You, Dale, will remain in the hearts of many for eternity. May Dale's family experience the peace that passes human understanding.

I was looking forward to see you again at our 50th class reunion buddy but we will meet again later! We had some great times in high school. Miss you my friend.

Thanks for the memories, Tusker.

I have nothing but love and great respect for this humble and beautiful man who had a profound influence on my life. He lived next door to our family and was big brother to all four of us kids. Always very kind and gentle and one of the best athletes I have ever seen. Thanks for all that you did and those that you inspired during your life. I for one will be forever grateful big fella.
