Years ago I was most pleased when I convinced Dale to make the move from Eli Lilly to Upjohn. In all his years of service, neither I nor Upjohn ever regretted his decision. I will always fondly remember Dale both personally and professionally.

Dale, I will miss you and our long talks over oh so many years. You gave a good long fight over your years of illness and tried to accomplish difficult tasks when you didn't feel like it for the benifit of the family you left behind.
