Not sure what to say?

Prof. Patrick was my advisor for the minor in Religion at Drake. I graduated in 1990. He had a great sense of humor and, as is the case for religion professors, he was one well read dude. So smart. But he would joke that he was the lesser-known "Dale" just in his little religion department at Drake! lol. Thanks for the education, Dr. Patrick!

I will always remember your wit, intelligence and love for lsrael. Happy you came to United Theological College. You made me enjoy theology!

What a loss. A nice man who shared part of his life at UTC in Zimbabwe. We shared many beautiful moments together. Rest in peace brother. Levee Kadenge

Dale will be missed greatly as an enthusiastic and ever-helpful scholar and churchman. His work on Law and God as character were for their time well ahead of the field. He is already and will be missed by all of us honored enough to have known him.

A great lecturer. Soft spoken, very witty and humorous. It was a great honour to listen to your wisdom. Rest in eternal peace. Will be sadly missed.

One of my mentors, who became a good friend. Such an engaged and humble teacher. Best I've ever had. He had a lot of influence on helping to shape what I've done in my life. Safe passage to beyond, Dale.

He was a valued participant, upbeat, curious, interesting and certainly a contributor who was listened to. He faced serious illness bravely and determinedly--certainly a role model in that regard--and he will be missed by many, many people who know him.
